Lyra is petite and precious at just 42 lbs and one year old. This stunning fawn beauty with white markings and the most captivating pale yellow eyes is the kind of pup who makes you smile without even trying.
✨ What makes Lyra so special:
• Total cuddle bug — absolutely no concept of personal space (and we love that)
• When she’s happy, her whole body wiggles 💛
• Signature move: a dramatic sploot right off your lap
• Loves to sniff and explore on walks — checks in often and rarely pulls
• Crate trained
• Basically house trained with a consistent routine
• Takes treats gently
• Will literally thank you during dinner with a kiss and a play bow 🥹
• Playful and goofy — flips her snacks and chews up into the air
• The cutest, silliest low-butt zoomies you’ve ever seen
• Almost mastered sit, touch, and kisses
Lyra loves other dogs and is currently living with a foster brother. She would thrive with a doggy friend who can tolerate her adorable puppy antics.
She can be timid when meeting new people and looks to her foster mom for reassurance — but she wants to be brave, and her confidence grows more every day.
Like any puppy, she can be mouthy/nippy when she’s excited or overtired. She’s also a moderate chewer and does great with bully sticks, beef trachea, and no-hide chews (which really soothe her).
