Meet meaty
Meaty is a 3.5 year old, 80 lb Bulldog mix.
That face, those wrinkles, totally adorable!
He faced some tough times before coming to Humane Tomorrow. He was found as a stray, rumaging through the trash, looking for food.
He was hungry, emaciated, and both eyes were infected. All that is history, and he is now ready for adoption. His foster family has fattened him up, his eyes have been treated, and he is a happy, friendly boy. Foster mom says he loves people and really, really wants to sit next to you on the couch or take over the entire ottoman as his very own. He loves his foster family and is smitten with the 8 year old boy. When Meaty is sad, he cries like Chewbacca and makes you feel so bad for him (but also make you laugh)!
He walks well on leash and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is doing ok with the other dogs in his foster home but can be a little too pushy for the smaller dog. Meaty would be great as an only dog so he can get all the attention! Meaty has heartworms because he was not keps on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our partner vet. Please submit your application to adopt Meaty, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
