Meet Gus! 🐾
Gus is a handsome 2-year-old neutered male pitbull with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. This sweet boy has been through a lot, but he continues to show everyone just how resilient and affectionate he truly is.
Gus does have some special needs, and he is looking for a committed adopter who will help him continue thriving. He takes daily Prozac to help manage his anxiety, and it has made a wonderful difference in helping him feel more secure and relaxed. He is also undergoing laser therapy on both of his back stifles due to a previous injury, and he has been responding very well to treatment. With continued care, gus is expected to keep improving!
In addition, Gus has food allergies and is currently on Hill’s Science Diet z/d, which has been working great for him. Staying on this diet will be important to keep him feeling his best.
Gus would do best in a patient, loving home and giving him the support he needs! 💜
