Meet fergie
Hi! My name is Fergie and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC on February 16, 2026. I was adopted and returned on April 16, 2026 because it just wasn`t a good fit.I weigh 45.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog. Although I am short and stocky I am a BALL OF ENERGY! I love to go on on long walks and play. Due to my high energy I would do best in a home without younger children.My foster says this about me, `Fergie is a sweet and loyal pup, who just wants to be lovingly near her people all the time! She loves cuddling up on the couch, and can play tug-o-war for as long as you`re willing. She has yet to meet anyone that she doesn`t immediately love, and has become our house welcome-wagon when we have visitors. She is vigilant with strangers outside but is welcoming to guests when they enter the home.She`s treat motivated and smart, she`s already mastered `sit` and is working on `down`, `come`, and `find it`. She`s very strong for her size and would need a home that is willing to continue to train her and help her use her strength wisely. She has displayed leash-reactivity with other dogs and cats on walks, and would need a home where she is the only pet. Fergie truly is the princess of the castle!`I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me :)
