Meet Kermit!This 14lb, 5-year-old, Wheaten Terrier came to the shelter as a stray, feeling unsure and overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds. When he first arrived, he was very nervous and shy. It was clear he hadn’t had an easy road — his fur was extremely matted and in need of lots of TLC.Once Kermit realized he was safe and surrounded by kindness, his true personality began to shine. He warmed up quickly to the staff, revealing himself to be an incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle boy. He enjoys soft pets, cozy beds, and simply being near people he trusts. He is highly housetrained, making him a wonderful addition to a home looking for a well-mannered companion. He’s the kind of dog who’s happy to relax by your side, take leisurely walks, and offer quiet companionship after a long day.Kermit may have started his journey feeling scared and alone, but he’s ready for a fresh chapter filled with love, comfort, and a family to call his own.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
