Shadow is a 2‑year‑old, 63‑lb Dutch Shepherd who came to us after arriving as a stray at ACCT Philly. We quickly transferred him so he could get the second chance he deserved, and he’s been winning hearts ever since.
This gorgeous boy is sweet, playful, and affectionate. Shadow takes treats gently, is very food‑motivated, and enjoys engaging with his people. He loves to play and is happiest when he has a toy in his mouth, carrying it proudly wherever he goes.
Shadow has the intelligence and drive typical of his breed, paired with a loving and eager‑to‑connect personality. He thrives on interaction and would do best with a breed‑experienced home that understands Dutch Shepherds and can provide structure, enrichment, and continued training.
