Hi there! I'm Dakota, a sweet lab mix around 8 years young, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! I'm a calm and cozy pup who loves lounging nearby while you work or relax. Wherever you are, that’s where I want to be too.
I get along great with kids, other dogs, and new people. Having a dog sibling would be really fun, but I’d also be okay solo as long as I have a lot of time with my humans. I go crazy every time I see a cat, so no cat siblings for me. I have good leash manners and like to go on walks with my foster mom.
My foster parents leave me home alone uncrated and they always return to the house in perfect condition.
I had a bit of a rough start, but I'm getting healthier every day and the vet says I'm doing great! I had a wound on the side of my face that is healing very nicely and will leave a small scar. I am heart worm negative, neutered, and up to date on all my vaccinations.
I may be an older pup, but I have so much love to give! My gentle demeanor combined with my playful spirit makes me the perfect addition to any family.
