Hiya Friends! My name is Romeo and I'm a handsome 1yr old male German Shepherd mix dude. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.
Quick Facts
Age: 1yr old
Kids: would do fine with older kids (12+)
Dogs: good with large dogs
Cats: NO cats
Training: needs full obedience training
1. My backstory is pretty sad. I came from a high kill shelter in Memphis. After leaving the shelter, I was forced to live in a small kennel most of the day. Because of this cruelty, I was going nuts! Doggos aren't suppose to live in a crate 24/7!
2. Thanks to some good hearted people, they transferred me to IDGSR where I could receive proper care, love, attention, and learn to be a good boy.
3. I have gained weight, overcome some of my not-so-great habits, and have learned being a free dog is the best! Running in the yard, playing with other dogs, and playing with toys is so fun!
4. I am house & kennel trained and am a very active boy. I'd love to go on walks, hikes, runs, or do anything athletic.
5. I could use some standard obedience training. Let's prove to your nosey neighbor that you have the most handsome (duh!) and well trained pup on the block!
6. If you are looking for a resilient, friendly, handsome, athletic, and nice new companion - I'm your dude!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
