Meet Sophie. Please read what her foster mom has to say about this sweet girl.Sophie is a 9 month old Golden Retriever about 50 lbs. Sophie is a typical puppy, likes to chew on things and has a lot of energy!! She is house trained and crate trained. We are working on leash walking and she is getting better. Sophie knows simple commands (sit, paw, stay, leave it).
Sophie is in our home with 2 other dogs and we feel she needs to go to another home with older dogs or no dogs. We are recommending that Sophie go to a home with NO young kids.
**Sophie did get surrendered due to a history of biting and resouce guarding. I do have to say she is doing a lot better with the resource guarding and allows everyone in the foster home to take toys from her mouth without any issues. She has NOT bit since the first day in the foster house and gets along with everyone. Due to her history we don't feel she would work in a family with young kids or small dogs. She is a puppy and LOVES TO PLAY AND STILL HAS THE PUPPY NIPS.
Sophie is now up to date on vaccines and spayed.
