Take 5 is a sweet, playful little cloud of a puppy who is ready to find his forever family!

He is a toy Poodle. He is smart, curious, and incredibly gentle for such a young pup. He loves playing with toys, exploring his surroundings, and then curling up for cuddles. Take 5 does well with humans and gets along nicely with other dogs his size. He enjoys companionship and would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to build confidence and learn.

Because of a mild weakness in his left front leg joint, Take 5 will need a family who is mindful about keeping him at a healthy weight and avoiding rough jumping or high-impact play. With proper care, monitoring, and a balanced lifestyle, he can live a happy, active life. He just needs a little extra thoughtfulness to help him stay safe and strong.

Take 5 is looking for a family who will cherish his gentle nature, continue his training, and give him all the love he deserves. In return, he will give you endless affection, loyalty, and the sweetest little puppy eyes you’ve ever seen.

He sleeps in his a pen on his bed sleep and sleeps soundly throughout the night. He knows to only poop and pee on a pee pad. His weak joint is on his front left leg. Good with other dogs, with children, and with other small animals. He rides fine in a car.

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
