Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help Daphne grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
