Fisher is 3 years old and medium-sized at 36.2 lbs. She is already altered and ready to go home today. She appears housetrained, walks well on leash overall, and knows “sit.”Fisher is spending time in a short-term foster home and has been doing well! She has had no accidents and is keeping a great routine with housetraining.On leash, Fisher likes to walk at the front but doesn’t pull strongly and will happily come back when called. She has shown some interest in squirrels and other dogs, so continued positive reinforcement and consistency will help her build even better leash manners.Fisher is a high-energy girl who absolutely loves being outside and running around. Outdoor time seems to be her happy place! She already knows “sit” and is eager to engage.In the home, she hasn’t quite settled into snuggling yet, but she happily follows her people from room to room and greets them with enthusiastic kisses every time she sees them. She clearly enjoys being near her humans and thrives on interaction. Fisher is still learning that small spaces are safe, and she prefers when her people approach her within her line of sight. With gentle guidance and a predictable routine, she continues to grow more confident each day. She’ll thrive with an adopter who offers reassurance, positive experiences, and a little patience as she blossoms into her best self. Overall, Fisher is an energetic, affectionate pup who loves the outdoors and is ready to find a home that will embrace her zest for life while continuing to guide her as she grows.Fisher has met other dogs at the shelter, she is a playful girl!Fisher is currently in the comfort of a foster home.
