Meet Tengu!
1 yr./48 lb./Male/Lab/Collie Mix

Name: Tengu
Age: 1 year
Weight: 48 lbs
Breed: Lab/Collie Mix
Status: Soft-spoken sweetheart seeking patient soulmate 🤍

About Me: Hi… I’m Tengu. I might hang back for a minute when we first meet — I like to observe, assess, and make sure you pass the vibe check. But give me a little time (and maybe a crunchy treat), and you’ll see my tail start to wag and my personality peek out. I’m a sensitive, thoughtful boy with that classic intelligence. I notice everything. I feel everything. And once I know I’m safe? I love with my whole heart. I’ll gently follow you around, lean into you for comfort, and look at you like you’re my entire world. I’m not the loudest guy in the room — I’m the loyal best friend who chooses you quietly and forever.

Best Qualities:
• Tender-hearted and deeply loyal
• Smart, observant, and eager to learn
• Forms meaningful bonds
• Playful and silly once comfortable
• Gives the sweetest “thank you for being patient with me” eyes

Ideal Match:
• A calm, patient home willing to go at my pace
• Someone who understands that trust is built, not rushed
• A family who celebrates small confidence wins
• Humans who keep crunchy treats stocked at all times

Deal Breakers:
• Being expected to be outgoing on day one
• Chaotic, overwhelming environments
• Treat jars that are suspiciously empty

Fun Fact: The fastest way to my heart? A perfectly crunchy snack. The louder the cronch, the deeper the bond.
