Groot is a 19-month-old Lab mix (likely Lab/mastiff or bully breed) who has never met a person he doesn’t love. He’s the kind of dog who brings his rope toy to the door when he hears you coming home.

He knows his basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, crates willingly, and is very food-motivated (his favorite training treat are blueberries). He’s non-reactive to other dogs and does well with kids, though his size and energy can be a lot for toddlers. He loves tug, fetch, and being wherever his people are.

We’re rehoming him because a young family member with severe allergies to dog dander and saliva is moving into our home in April. We love him and want him to land somewhere great.

Groot comes with his XL heavy-duty crate, cot, toys, and supplies. If you want a loyal, cuddly, high-energy companion who lights up every time you walk through the door, he’s your guy.
