Meet groot
Groot is a 19-month-old, large-breed mix with a big heart and an affectionate personality. Our vet believes he may be a Lab mixed with a mastiff or large bully breed. Whatever his mix, he has truly never met a person he doesn’t love and just wants to be close and love on people.
He is non-reactive to other dogs and tends to whine rather than escalate when barked at. He loves walks, is very intelligent, and highly food-motivated. His favorite snacks/training treats are carrots, blueberries, and cheddar cheese.
Groot is still in his adolescent stage and needs structure, consistency, and daily engagement. He would do best with someone comfortable with large dogs who wants a loyal, cuddly companion.
We want to make the transition as smooth as possible, so Groot comes with all his things, including his heavy-duty crate.
