Meet tuffy
Meet Tuffy! He is a handsome Yorkie mix who is 3.5 months old. Weighing in at 5 pounds, he is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative/on prevention, neutered, and microchipped. He’s working hard on potty training and does well with a potty pad.
A snuggler, he is shy but learning to play. He gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home as well as cats! He can be barky at times so probably not a good fit for apartment living. Keep in mind he is a puppy, so he will require dedicated time for continued training.

His adoption fee is $500. Our foster group is located in the south suburbs of Chicago and we serve that general area. We do not ship dogs. Head over to http://www.heathersfosterdogs.org to fill out your application online. It will be forwarded to Tuffy’s foster mom, who will reach out. We don’t set up meet and greets without the application first. Thanks in advance!
