Meet leah *foster needed*
Leah is a gentle 10-year-old female Lab mix, weighing about 66 pounds, who is urgently in need of a safe place to land.
She has spent her life with a loving elderly couple, but after her main caregiver suffered a stroke, both owners were moved into a nursing home and are no longer able to care for her. Since then, kind healthcare nurses have been stepping in to make sure Leah is fed and looked after, but she does not currently have a permanent home.
At this time, Leah is not yet in our care. We are actively seeking a committed foster or adopter so we can bring her into rescue and ensure she receives the stability, comfort, and love she deserves in her senior years.
Leah is a mature, soulful companion who has known the comfort of a home and the devotion of her people. She is looking for a calm, loving environment where she can feel safe again and enjoy the simple things—soft beds, gentle walks, and quiet companionship.
Opening your home to Leah as a foster or adopter would truly change her life and allow us to step in to help her.
