Meet Valentina!
Valentina is a beautiful 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 38 pounds — the perfect medium-sized companion for cuddles, walks, and everything in between.
This sweet girl is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, but don’t let that scare you away. Heartworm disease is treatable, and she’s already on the road to recovery. If adopted, any remaining treatment will go home with her, and our team will gladly help guide her new family through the process. She just needs a safe place to rest and heal.
Valentina is Vaccinated, Microchipped, Spayed, & Currently receiving heartworm treatment.
At just 2 years old, she’s past the tiny puppy phase but still young, affectionate, and full of life. Labradors are known for their loyal, people-loving personalities, and Valentina is no exception. She’s ready to trade shelter life for a cozy bed and a family to call her own.
Heartworm treatment simply means she’ll need some temporary activity restriction while she heals — think more couch time, more gentle snuggles, and lots of quiet bonding moments. Not exactly a hardship for a loving home
