jilly bean ~

Jilly Bean is finishing up her medical requirements and will be ready for her new home soon!This girl is as cute as they come. She LOVES other dogs, so her new home must have a playmate or 3! (She lives with 5 others now and always has someone to play with!) She is working on potty training and doing a pretty great job. She doesn't chew on non-dog things often but when she does, it's an easy redirect to a toy or chew and she's happy. Typical smart puppy stuff. This girl LOVES to eat and is very polite while the preparations are made.  A fenced yard is preferred as Jilly LOVES to run and show everyone how fast she is! She also LOVES to dig. She is learning to use the dog door which has opened a whole new world of possibility in the back yard. Jilly Bean sleeps quietly in her crate all night and enjoys napping in her crate or a dog bed throughout the day. She's a good napper with the humans on the couch and would be a good bed sleeper once she's fully potty trained.  Jilly is approximately 3 months old. Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
