Meet lucas
Thank you for the opportunity to rehome my mother's dog Lucas. We think he is about 13-14 years old, he is neutered and shots are up to date as well as recent blood work shows he's in good health. My mom has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia and is unable to care for her two dogs. We might have her female covered but would be willing to entertain rehoming to same family. He has had some skin issues that we believe are diet related. I have tried to meal prep for them as they are also overweight. Due to my mom currently living on her own she will continue with her old habits and over feeding them or buying food that is not the highest quality. We are trying to prepare to move her to assisted living and the pets cannot go with her. Lucas is also not good with the doggy door, I don't believe my mom really trained him to use it. So, unfortunately she won't let him out regularly and he goes inside the home. He is good with cats and other dogs
