Gable came to us as a breeder release, so many parts of normal home life are still brand new to him. Walks on a leash, exploring the world, learning routines, and soaking up affection are all things he is discovering for the very first time.
When meeting new people or entering new environments, Gable can be a little timid for the first few minutes while he figures things out. Once he settles in, though, his sweet personality starts to shine through and he quickly warms up.
He gets along well with other dogs, tolerates cats, and does best with older or calmer children since chaotic activity can still make him uneasy. Gable is working hard on his leash skills and building confidence more and more each day.
This handsome boy would thrive in a patient home that will continue helping him learn that the world is a safe and happy place. Watching him grow more confident and comfortable is one of the most rewarding things, and he is going to make an incredibly loyal companion for a lucky family.
