Meet Alaric, a four year old Pittie who’s ready to leave his stray days behind and start fresh with a forever family. Alaric was found locally as a skinny stray and, sadly, no one ever came forward to reclaim him. Now that he’s safe in our care, he’s focused on gaining weight, building strength, and showing everyone what a fun, loyal companion he can be. Alaric is an energetic boy who likes to stay busy. He does well with other dogs and truly enjoys playtime, whether that’s romping with a canine friend or engaging with his people. He’s especially motivated by treats and loves to work for them, which will make continued training both productive and rewarding. Like many active, strong dogs, Alaric will benefit from consistent training to help set clear manners and boundaries. With structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement, he has all the potential to be an incredibly well-rounded companion. If you’re looking for a playful, food-motivated best friend who’s eager to learn and ready for a second chance, Alaric might just be your guy. His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed!
