Meet zara
Zara joined our family at 8 weeks old after we adopted her from our local APL, where she was already spayed. At the time, my job allowed me to bring her to work with me, so she grew up very well socialized and comfortable around people from a young age. She has always been surrounded by family and companionship.
Zara is a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix—smart, loyal, and high energy. She loves being around her people and does best with structure and purpose. She has lived with cats and has never been aggressive toward them, though her herding instincts do cause her to chase and fixate on them at times.
Zara is the only dog in our home but has done well with other dogs in the past. She previously spent time around multiple dogs and generally got along well, though she does best with calm, structured dogs and proper introductions.
She loves walks, activity, and having a job. Zara was trained through Sit Means Sit and knows commands as heel, sit, wait, paw, roll over, and go.
