Meet fig
Fig (approximately 44 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He was lucky enough to spend time in a foster home, where we learned that this gentleman is a certified snuggler! His foster parents describe Fig as the perfect combination of cuddly and energetic, which makes sense as energy is definitely part of his breed! Fig learned so much while with his awesome foster family - he is now potty trained, crate trained, and he knows the "sit" command! Fig can get jumpy when he meets new people as his excitement causes him to pop up, but he has been working on the "down" command to help with this. And since he is treat motivated and highly intelligent, training Fig is fun! Our handsome boy loves walks, toys of all kinds, and of course, cuddles. He was fostered with another dog & they did very well together; in fact, his foster family says that he does best with another dog in the home.
