Meet echo
Echo is a ~4.5-year-old rescue I adopted at ~18 weeks old. He has always been very anxious around new people and environments, but at home he is incredibly sweet, loving, and playful. He wants to be involved in whatever you are doing and bonds deeply with his person.
His crate is his safe space and he will often go there or stay close to me when meeting someone new. He may try to act scary and bark/growl but would never be actually aggressive. He has warmed up fully to a small circle of trusted people over time.
With other dogs he can be hit or miss. As a puppy he loved the dog park, but as he matured he became more reactive to unfamiliar dogs and may bark or pull on leash but given the right intro I have seen him be best friends with other dogs. He also loves cats and is aware of his size when playing.
Echo would do best in a calm home with patient owners and maybe minimal visitors or a safe out of the way crate location when visitors come by. He is house trained and crate trained.
