Meet Diesel, a little blue-eyed soul still learning what it means to be safe. Diesel is a 10 months old, 24-lb French Bulldog with the kind of blue eyes that seem to ask a quiet question: “Am I home yet?”

When Diesel came to us, he was emaciated and struggling — a baby who hadn’t yet learned that meals come every day and that love can be permanent. Because of that rough start, his body is still catching up. We’re working on getting his gut healthy, and while that means he currently has chronic diarrhea and needs on-leash walks only (he’s still learning that not everything on the ground is food), these are things that time, patience, and consistency can improve.

What Diesel does know already is how to love.
He’s a sweet, gentle boy, wonderful with other dogs and people, and well crate-trained. He knows how to sit, enjoys playful moments with canine friends, and then happily settles in for quiet time. He’s not loud or demanding — just a young pup who wants to be near you, soaking up affection and reassurance.

Diesel is looking for a special person — someone willing to focus on continued housetraining, keep him on a steady routine, and give him the grace to heal both inside and out. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will grow stronger every day because you believed in him.
