To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Happy girl who gives the best kisses and is always ready to join you for an adventure- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a fantastic time: "Miss Mink had a delightful day. We went to a park and walked to a coffee shop, where she enjoyed a pup cup and plenty of pets. We capped the day with a walk around Grays Lake, where she wanted to meet everyone that walked past us (two- and four-legged). She would be a fabulous dog for an active family. Even after 4 miles, she seemed to have a lot of energy left and was ready to keep going." - Likes balls and stuffed toys, and enjoys chewing on bones - Knows sit and does pretty well on a leash and in the car- Has done well in a kennel when her foster family is gone and at night; whines a little at first but then settles down and is quiet- Bouncy and can forget her mouth manners at times - she just gets so excited! - may need some help with that in her new home- Young, active, or noisy kids may be too much for her right now (mature home recommended)- A social butterfly with other dogs and has done well with the dogs in her foster home; likes taking their toys and parading them around, trying to lure them in to a game- We don't know her history with catsAll adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
