Meet barbara
I found Barbara roaming the streets in October 2025. I took her in expecting to just foster her until I could either find her owners or a forever home – this quickly changed as I fell in love with her. I was fully prepared to keep her, however, I do have another dog in the home that is selective with who she gets along with. She recently initiated a fight with Barbara, and Barbara bit her back. I do not deem Barbara to be aggressive at all– that said, I am in search of a home where Barbara can be the only pet to eliminate any risk of this happening again. I have never witnessed Barbara interact with cats or children, so I am also looking for a home without them. Barbara is truly the easiest, most loving, eager to please dog I have ever encountered. I would keep her in a heartbeat if circumstances were different. She’s crate-trained, house-trained, and her favorite past time is simply snuggling up next to you. An experienced dog owner is ideal for her.
