    Meet Pedro Santiago!  Say hello to Pedro Santiago, a 1&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 11&#226&#128&#145pound Rat Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a fun&#226&#128&#145size body. Pedro is friendly, sweet, and convinced that everyone he meets might be his new best friend. He does great with kids, adults, and other dogs, though he may give you a shy “who, me?” look at first. Because Pedro is small but mighty, large dogs can seem a little intimidating (can you blame him?), but he thrives with small to medium&#226&#128&#145sized dogs and truly enjoys having a canine buddy. With medium energy and maximum affection, Pedro’s favorite hobbies include hanging out with his people, soaking up love, and being generally adorable. Training & Manners (A+ Student) Pedro is potty trained on a schedule, can hold it for 8+ hours, and sleeps through the night like a champ. He’s leash trained and walks politely with guidance - no dragging you down the street like a sled dog. While Pedro isn’t crate trained, he’s non&#226&#128&#145destructive and earns full trust free&#226&#128&#145roaming the house, especially if another dog is around to keep him company. He already has a solid training foundation and is eager to keep learning (treats help - just saying). Ideal Home (Pedro’s Dream Scenario) Pedro would love a home that’s ready to help a young pup continue growing into his best self. A securely fenced yard would be a bonus, but he’s perfectly happy with regular walks and adventures. Since Pedro can be a bit vocal when left alone, a home without shared walls is ideal - he just has a lot to say sometimes! With a little patience and consistency, Pedro will reward you with loyalty, love, and a lifetime of tiny tail wags.
