Meet azula
Our family was recently saddened to learn that our beloved female husky mix may not be able to use both hind legs. In October, she sustained an injury while chasing squirrels. According to the veterinarian, an MRI indicated that an FCE or fibrocartilaginous embolism was the cause of her injury. We've been caring for her, taking her to different therapy sessions where she would perform various trainings, as we were told that it was still too early to know if she would recover. We also had her go to an acupuncture specialist, who then referred us to a neurology center. Unfortunately, when we went to her appointment, we were told by the doctor that she was probably not going to recover. This was s devastating news to us since we were praying for, at least, some sort of recovery. She is 4 years young and full of life. As much as we love her and it pains us to lose her, we also have an elderly person at home with us. Makes caring for her in this state even harder.
