Meet zeus
Zeus is a walk in surrender on 2/3/26. He has been ill for two weeks and his family could not afford additional medical diagnostics to determine what is ailing him. He was rushed to the animal hospital where he had radiographs, but there was no definitive cause of his issues. Today (Wednesday 2/4/26) he will undergo exploratory surgery so we can try to help him. Please consider donating to his care, which could be $3,000+. 2/4/26-UPDATE! Zeus had exploratory surgery today and they found a plastic SQUEAKER from a toy in that boys intestine, which was causing him to feel so yucko! He`s not out of the woods yet, as this is a pretty invasive surgery and we need to make sure he is going to start eating again and passing everything through as usual. He`ll spend the night in the hospital and hopefully we`ll have an update tomorrow!2/6/26-UPDATE! Zeus is back at the shelter and recovering. We are working on getting him to a foster home for the rest of his recovery. His surgery expenses came to $3,000.
