Meet S’mores!
S’mores is a 6-month-old female Husky who was abandoned in rural Texas and picked up by animal control right before a cold snap. She is excited to make her way to Wisconsin and experience the weather she was made for- SNOW!!!

She weighs about 30 pounds and still has that wonderful puppy energy mixed with curiosity and charm. While her past is unknown, it’s clear that S’mores hasn’t let that slow her down — she’s bright-eyed, affectionate, and eager to connect with the people around her.

Shelter staff describe S’mores as sweet, gentle, and playful, a lovely combination that makes her a joy to be around. Like most young Huskies, she’s active, smart, and would thrive with a family that can provide structure, exercise, and continued training. S’mores is ready to trade shelter life for a home where she can run, learn, and finally feel safe and loved.

She is potty trained, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI .

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.

Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
