Maizey is a small, gentle girl who is just beginning to learn how wonderful life can be. She came from a difficult situation where she lived with many animals and had limited positive interaction with people, so the world is still a big and sometimes overwhelming place for her.

Maizey is very shy, but incredibly sweet. She prefers to move at her own pace and does best with calm, patient people who understand that trust takes time. She is food motivated, which is a great tool for helping her build confidence through positive experiences.
🐶 Dog Friends
Maizey is comfortable with dogs her size and truly blossoms when she has a confident, friendly small dog to help show her the ropes. A confident canine companion is required in her new home to help her feel safe. She is unsure about larger dogs and we have not seen her with cats yet.
