Meet lucille
This beauty is Lucille! She ended up at the shelter as a lost girl on 1/27, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Lucille is now keeping her paws crossed for a new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Lucille as sweet and easygoing. She is calm and quiet in her kennel, and she walks so nicely on leash. She also knows how to sit for treats.
Lucille is approximately 4 years old, is a small-sized dog. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed, and will be microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Lucille did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care she can go on to live and long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives her treatment. Lucille is waiting patiently in kennel 311; her ID # is 16579.
