A heavily pregnant dog was simply left standing in the driveway as her family packed up their belongings and moved away. Not only did they leave this precious girl to fend for herself, they left two teenage puppies from her last litter standing next to her. These kids were in terrible shape, covered in mange. OOTW was contacted and stepped up, putting the kids in a foster home where they could get the meds and TLC they needed and the sweet, "Shy-Anne" went to another foster home to get settled in to have those babies. It wasn't long until we were blessed with six babies to add to the dozen + we already had in the program! We started with six in this litter and we are down to Kaiser and his sister, Kiwi ... Mom is a small (40-pounder) Rottweiler mix and the daddy, we believe, is an Aussie because we have one puppy with a Blue Merle coat and blue eyes, and several of the black puppies have blue eyes, or a single blue eye. This extremely handsome young man is Kaiser who got two brown eyes, just like his mom. He has a beautiful dark face with brown eyebrows and dots on each cheek. He's slick and shiny, well socialized and after the first few moments of "OH I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!", he calms down and will put his head on your shoulder for some serious petting and snuggling! He loves soft toys and playing tug with his siblings and he gets along with all the other dogs in the foster home. Kaiser has been staying overnight in an exercise pen and does great! He uses a puppy pad inside the pen overnight. We are beginning his closed crate training in just a few days and going to work on some commands. He will grow to be around 40 pounds. Kaiser has had all his puppy shots and he's on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. When this little guy gets a bit older, he will be neutered, microchipped and given his rabies shot.
