It's Lady Bunny Ears!
While we don't have the DNA test to prove it, our staff swear that this girl is a chihuahua mix. Either that or she borrowed a chihuahua's ears and decided they suite her so well that she couldn't possibly give them back. The rest of Bunny's breed mix up? That's still up in the air. We suspect there's some pig in there (if you saw that little pink nose rooting around for treats and heard her sleepy snorts and grumbles, you'd understand). She might have gotten her voice from a husky but she swears she's just showing off her best peacock imitation. Bunny has the impressive build and bulk of a seal, but don't worry because she's got four long legs that work perfectly on land - perhaps those came from a highland cow? Unfortunately Bunny didn't inherited the shaggy coat of her bovine ancestors but her silky tan fur is short, easy to care for, and perfect for stroking and petting.
We're unsure who would let such a perfect creature, for surely she cannot simply be a dog, roam the streets of Providence alone, but she was recently picked up as a stray by local animal control. Despite Bunny's unknown history, it took barely 2 seconds for her to charm staff and become everyone's new work bestie. From chilling at the front desk and greeting volunteers as they clock in for their shifts to assisting with cat spays by laying on the vet's feet and keeping them warm, Bunny has assisted in nearly every aspect of shelter life since arrival. All that said, Bunny's ready to clock out of work and head home, she's just got to figure out who's home she's going to call her own and who's couch will be her new office chair.
