Hi there, my name is JoJo, and I am an adorable female Yorkie mix with a scruffy wire coat and a curled tail. I am about 1.5 years old, weigh 15.2 lbs, and I was dumped with my brother in a large fenced-off area containing giant propane tanks in the middle of a field in Von Ormy, Texas. We were absolutely terrified, and thankfully, locals heard us barking and reached out to a lady who fosters for 4 Little Paws Rescue. She tried to coax us over, but we were too scared to approach, so a trapper was called in due to freezing rain on the way for the following day. These days, we are doing great. Healthy, happy, sweet as can be, and almost desperate for love! We are now spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet wonderful forever families!

I am a friendly girl, just a speck shy at first, but such a sweet and loving little girl. I was sharing kisses with my foster mom the very same day, basically saying how grateful I was to be safe and loved. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy playtime, but if I could just be snuggled in your arms or on your lap all day, I would be the happiest girl in town! Don't get me wrong... I don't need to be glued to your hip and will entertain myself by having fun with doggy toys, chewing on chew bones like Benebone or Nylabone type chews, and chasing squeaky balls. I am well-behaved in a home, already housebroken, and I also know how to use a doggy door. I enjoy sleeping in bed with my foster parents, and I adjust quickly to new situations.
