Meet autumn
Autumn is a beautiful 3.5-year-old, petite Great Pyrenees mix (66lbs).
She thrives outdoors and has strong livestock-guardian instincts. She is excellent with chickens, happily watching over our free-range flock.
Autumn grew up with our two boys and is a good watchdog, but as she’s matured she’s become more cautious with strangers and less tolerant of young children, especially around handling. Our busy household, frequent visitors, and travel have become stressful for her.
She struggles being left alone indoors and cannot be crated, though she is house-trained otherwise. She is happiest outside, but city living and nighttime barking make this challenging. She is hit-or-miss with other dogs, preferring calm, friendly dogs one-on-one.
Autumn is medium-low energy. She responds best to positive reinforcement. She would thrive in a rural area with adults experienced with guardian or anxious dogs, no small children, and space to safely be outdoors.
