Meet bunny
How do I look? Does the cool, stoic model look work for me? Do I look super adoptable?
Oh. You're right. Something more relatable might work better. Something that says, "I'm Bunny, your new best friend," or "I'm Bunny, and I'm going to make your life so much richer!"
I'm afraid I'm not quite nailing it. See, I'm a little nervous here in the shelter, so a big smile would just look a bit... artificial.
I'll get there. I know I've got plenty of smiley days to come. I'm only two and a half years old, so I've got almost my whole life ahead of me!
I may be going through a rough patch right now. And it can be hard to hang onto hope when everything around you is so strange. But I know I'm a really good dog and I know there's a human who will see that and give me a chance!
I'm well-behaved and trainable, food-motivated, and affectionate. I don't love indiscriminately, but I'm not actually picky. I love everyone eventually, but I want to get to know them a little bit first.
I've lived with young kids and cats and done well with them! Other dogs might take a little more care. I was returned from an adoption after a conflict with the small dogs in my home, so I would probably do best in a single-dog home, but it may just be that I need the right match (human and canine). I'm 65 lb, so someone closer to my size might be good.
I'd be a great best friend, awesome walking companion, and overall very good girl! And I know things will get better for me. I'll find my person, the sun will come out, and I'll smile again!
