Meet mickey

Mickey is a southern boy from Kentucky who is still learning about life in the big city! He's been in a foster home with his brother, Sammy, and they are both still quite shy while adjusting to their new living situation. Mickey would really benefit from a confident dog friend in his forever home to help show him the ropes and teach him how to be a city dog!

Weight: 18.6 lbs (and growing!)

Spayed/Neutered: Yes!

Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Will need to continue to receive puppy boosters until 5 months of age.

Microchipped: Yes!

Housebroken: Not yet! They are still working on learning the difference between pottying inside and pottying outside.

Crate-trained: Yes! They will settle in the crate easily and are comfortable staying in it for 4+ hours.

Leash behavior: Still learning! They are a puppy and will need continued positive reinforcement training to learn proper leash skills.

Dog sociability: They love them! They thrive with a dog buddy and would love to live in a forever home with other dogs.

Cat sociability: They are working on their cat manners! They have lived with cats and have mostly been fine, but will occasionally chase them or play a little too rough.

Kid sociability: Unknown! They have never met children while in foster care.

Likes: Playing with his dog friends, relaxing with a chew toy, snacks

Dislikes: Cold weather, people who don't ask before hugging
