You’d never guess she’s been hiding a life-altering secret.Not long after being abandoned at our shelter, Daisy started to limp.X-rays revealed she has an acute ACL tear. Even more heartbreaking, her other ACL had also ruptured sometime in the past. Her body created enough scar tissue to make that leg semi-stable, but it was a fragile fix to a painful problem.A recent consultation at BluePearl Animal Hospital has confirmed our worst fears: Daisy’s ACLs are torn on both of her back legs.Daisy desperately needs surgery on both legs to live the pain-free, joy-filled life she deserves.
