Meet gator
Gator is an adorable mid-sized mixed breed male who showed up as a stray right before the storm. His breed mix is a mystery, with traits reminiscent of anything ranging from heeler, pointer, terrier, hound and many others. With his prick-ears, curled tail, and bright, expressive eyes , he is 100% a purebred cutie! So here is what we do know. Size - Gator is fully grown at 45 lbs, and he's estimated to be about 4 years old. Energy level - on the higher end of medium. Personality - unique, fun, and irresistable. Gator is a playful and speedy boy outside, engaging in zoomies and bouncing around you at the slightest provocation. He is always appreciative of some one-on-one attention. He tends to be demonstrative and talkative with an array of unique noises that are distinctively his. As office dog, he spends a few minutes circling and getting comfy before opting to lay closest to a human, forgoing the bed. He does enjoy jumping and rolling around on the couch, and he's all for some treats and chews. He even spends 5 or so minutes burying his favorite bone in the blanket! Our guess is that Gator was a beloved pet at one point in his life. He loves to offer sit on cue, he was neutered when we received him, and although tremblingly nervous during his intake, he clearly showed us that he wanted to be our friend. We aren't sure how Gator ended up wandering the streets, afraid and so underweight his hipbones were showing. All we know is that we are glad to be the next chapter in his life, and that we hope he finds his new forever soon.
