** SPECIAL NEEDS **  Level 4 Heart Murmur **  **REQUIRES FENCED YARD **  NEEDS A COMPANION DOG * Meet 'Beans', an 8-1/2 yr old, 12 lb, Chihuahua Mix .  He's considered 'Special Needs' due to his Level 4 Heart Murmur, however, he's not on medication.  He's housebroken and seems to ride well in a car curled up in a bed in the passenger seat. Not leash trained so he requires a Secure Fence Yard.  Beans is a "climber" using rocks/boards to jump up on. As some other dogs, he's a Good Escape Artist and Door Darter whenever door is open.  He will need a companion dog in the home to help him continue to thrive to be a great dog. He also has a 'cloudy eye' but still sees okay.  Beans came from a very bad situation that included bitten by tons of fleas and ticks losing all his hair and he would love to find a family to give him a better life. Bean’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.
