Hi, I’m Oakley! I’m an extremely sweet, happy girl who’s ready to be someone’s best friend, loyal sidekick, and adventure partner. I love being close to my people and will happily follow you around, whether we’re heading out for a walk, playing fetch, or settling in for some snuggles.I’m fully house trained and crate trained (I actually love my crate), not food aggressive at all, and very polite at mealtimes. I know basic commands like sit (and sometimes stay!) and I’m eager to please—especially if treats are involved. Belly rubs are one of my favorite things, and I’m always up for a game of fetch.I’m great with other dogs of all sizes and am friendly and passive with them. I enjoy walks, yard time, and playtime, though I may help remove the stuffing from toys if given the chance. I walk on a leash and love being outside exploring.I do well with older kids and am friendly and excited around them, but I can be a bit clumsy and jump up when I’m happy. I also have a strong, always-wagging tail, so I may not be the best fit for very young children.I’m friendly and excited around female strangers and can be a little fearful around male strangers at first, but with patience and gentle introductions, I warm up nicely. I do have a strong prey drive and am not a good match for a home with cats—I think chasing is a fun game, even though the cats definitely disagree.I’m a loving, playful, and affectionate girl who’s ready to bring a lot of joy to my forever home. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s always ready to play or cuddle, I might just be your girl.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you!
