Sugar was one of our rescued dogs from our shelter fire. She originally found herself in a bad place - an overcrowded, high kill shelter. The staff there reached out for help and we were able to take her in. Sugar is just as her name says - sweet as Sugar. She is good with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Sugar has been to the vet, spayed and even had a dental done. Sugar is about 3-4 years old and 27 pounds.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Sugar's adoption fee is $425. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
