Spot Jasmine, the heart-melting 3 year old Lab/Hound mix who currently weighs 55-60 pounds (as of 6/24/25). These pups were born to momma Jasmine in October 2022 - how they are still available for adoption is crazy!! We put one of the original posting pictures back in the profile for you to see. No dog should have to wait in rescue this long before finding their own people!!!
Meet Spot, his personality is a delightful mix of sweet and smart, with a dash of goofiness that's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Spot's friendly nature makes him a hit with everyone he meets, and his gentle demeanor is a testament to his loving heart.
His playful energy is infectious, making every day an adventure. Spot's intelligence is evident in his quick learning and eagerness to please. He's the perfect companion for those seeking a fun-loving, gentle, and intelligent friend. Adopt Spot and let his sweetness, playfulness, and intelligence bring joy to your life.
This bubbly boy has grown up in rescue, but his spirit remains bright and his heart full of love. His foster family describes him as a happy-go-lucky dog who thrives outdoors and adores playtime—especially with kids! Spot's enthusiasm for life knows no bounds, whether he's chasing toys or discovering new adventures
Like all dogs, Spot will flourish with a family committed to training, exercise, and, of course, lots of cuddles. He's already mastering leash and crate skills and eagerly awaits the chance to show off his good manners in a loving home.
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
