HOW TO ADOPT: This dog is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Came from a situation where she did not get the socialization and exposure to the world that dogs typically get from a young age; has come a long way in her foster home but some new situations, people and things may still be a challenge for her- Happy, playful girl who loves attention - Loves going for walks and riding in the car - Has been using a doggie door in her foster home and does well going out to potty when she needs to; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new home, routine and schedule - May do best in a calm home with mature family members- Has done very well with other dogs, and we recommend she be adopted into a home with another dog - We don't know her history with cats - Had surgery to repair luxating patellas in both knees (more info at ARL)All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
