Meet ranger
Ranger is a 2 1/2 year-old German wired hair pointer. She was originally bought from a breeder to be a hunting dog. During the season she goes on regular (fowl water bird) hunts. She hunts often but enjoys, relaxing at home, walks, and hanging out with the other dog we own.
She is crate trained, potty trained, and very responsive to her name and other commands. She is an incredibly smart dog and was shock collar trained, but does no longer need it all the time. She does become a slight bit of food aggressive if you bother her while she’s eating, which is quite easy to avoid, and we’ve never had any issues with it. She’s super playful has tons of fun puppy energy, but is always down to lay next to you and relax. Unfortunately, we are moving somewhere that does not allow for dogs and there’s no other option but to rehome her.
Since she has been a hunting dog for the past few years, I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to find somebody who enjoys duck hunting or something of that nature.
