Meet Sugar!
Sugar is a 2-year-old female pittie with a gentle soul and a delightfully goofy side. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and spends time with you, she leans right in for pets and affection. A total roly-poly at heart, Sugar loves to flop onto her back for belly rubs and is fully convinced she’s a lap dog, personal space is optional when cuddles are involved.
Treats are a great way to win her over, and she’s very motivated to please. Sugar walks nicely on a leash and truly blossoms once she opens up, rewarding her people with lots of love, snuggles, and sweet trust. She’d do best with a patient adopter who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to shine.
Visit Sugar at the Los Angeles Pet Adoption Center, open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am to 3pm. See you soon!
