I am writing to share the story of Cody, a sweet, vibrant, and incredibly loyal dog who is currently looking for a specific kind of "forever" home—one that understands that even the best protectors sometimes need a little help navigating the world.

Cody is, at his core, a joyful companion. If you have a tennis ball and a sturdy arm, you have a friend for life. He thrives on activity and is at his happiest when he has a yard to run in and a "job" to do. He is naturally protective of his people, showing a deep devotion that makes him a wonderful companion for the right owner.
Why He Needs a Special Home
Cody has a lot of energy and a strong protective instinct. Because of this, he recently had a single bite incident. We believe this happened because he hasn't yet learned how to properly channel his protective nature or handle high-stress social situations.
