Cayenne is coming back to Lucky Paws Rescue because the dogs in her home simply aren’t playing nice together. Despite everyone’s best efforts, the dynamic isn’t safe — and choosing safety over forcing a situation is the responsible, loving decision.

And Cayenne?She’s done nothing wrong.

Cayenne is VERY active, brilliantly fun, and full of life. She’s the kind of dog who wakes up ready to go — to run, to play, to explore, to learn. She has energy for days and a spark that lights up every room she enters. She thrives on movement, engagement, and adventure.

She loves hard.She plays hard.She lives hard — in the best way.

But Cayenne needs a home that matches her drive. She would do best as:• an only dog, or• with a very well-matched, confident, playful dog who enjoys rough-and-tumble play and clear boundaries

What she does not need is to be set up to fail in a situation where personalities clash.

Cayenne is affectionate, smart, and eager to bond with her people. She forms strong connections and wants to be included in everything — walks, playtime, couch time, and life. She needs structure, exercise, and an outlet for her big energy, because when her needs are met, she shines.

What hurts the most is that Cayenne has already experienced the confusion of change — and she deserves stability, not bouncing.
